Information we store

For installed shops, Hookline stores the Shopify shop domain and identifier, encrypted API credentials, current plan and installation status. Racks and garment configuration are stored as app-owned metaobjects in Shopify. Uploaded textures are stored in Cloudflare R2 with shop ownership, a checksum and file size.

The beta form stores the email address you provide, selected language and signup time. It does not automatically send marketing messages. Hookline does not request Shopify customer or order access and does not store shopper customer records. Analytics and automatic collection sync are not part of this initial beta.

Why we use it

We use shop data to authenticate access, edit racks, import selected products, store textures, apply plan limits and support the installation. We use beta emails to manage beta access. Signatures and short-lived rate-limit records help validate requests and prevent repeated form submissions.

Services and browser storage

Shopify provides app authentication, catalog data, configuration storage and subscription billing. Cloudflare hosts the app, database and uploaded textures. The website loads Google Fonts. Your browser stores a language preference. The explicit local editor demo stores sample racks and textures in your browser; demo data is separate from your Shopify shop.

Retention and deletion

Uninstalling the app revokes stored API credentials. Shopify's shop deletion webhook removes shop-associated database records and uploaded textures. Uploaded images are public assets intended for storefront display; do not upload private documents or customer data. Beta contact details remain until beta access is no longer needed or you request removal.

Your requests

Email support to request access, correction or deletion of information associated with your shop or beta signup. Identify the shop domain or signup email so we can locate it. We process Shopify's customer privacy webhooks; because Hookline does not collect customer records, there are no Hookline customer records to return or redact.
